About Music Starts Here
Music Starts Here (ages 5-7)
This is a fun and engaging 45 minute music programme for children delivered by our expert Tutor. Using singing, movement games and percussion, children will absorb all the elements needed to make a confident, well-rounded musician.
They explore their own musicality, develop language and communication skills, grow in confidence and increase their ability to express themselves, in a supportive and safe environment.
Children will be prepared to naturally progress into further groups within the centre and we will advise parents on a case by case basis and are encouraged to join our 'Intro to Instruments' class in addition when they are ready.
Introduction to Instruments
These 30 minute classes are available to those who take our 'Music Starts Here Age 5-7 course' for an additional £10 per week. Students will have the opportunity to discover Strings, Wind and Piano/Keyboards with our specialist teacher.
Small group teaching will allow children not only to begin to learn an instrument, but develop their musicianship, leadership and collaborative music making, also preparing them to join our ensembles. This is an ideal starting point for younger children before they take up individual lessons. Please note this class must be taken as part of our 'Music Starts Here' class or the 'Music, Drama and Instruments Start Here' course package and cannot be taken separately.
Our all-round course for children aged 5-7, consisting of our Music Starts Here, Drama Starts Here and Introduction to Instruments classes representing the best value for money with our expert provision. Please see individual classes for further information.
Looking for private tuition with one of our expert tutors? Book a 30 minute instrumental or vocal lesson, to be taken alongside Music Starts Here. Register your interest when signing up for a course.

Half a term’s notice is required to stop attending (except in exceptional circumstances). This notice period is required to fulfil obligations to the professional tutors, pay for facilities and to encourage you to be fully committed to the courses chosen.
